The first Biennial Conference of the International Association of Inter-American Studies will start at 10:00 a.m on Thursday, November 11, 2010. The academic program will conclude on Saturday, November 13 at 4:30 p.m. It will be followed by a sightseeing tour to Zeche Zollverein<\/em>, a former coal mine and now a UNESCO World Heritage site (5:00 – 6:30 p.m.) and a conference party with a buffet dinner (7:00 p.m. to midnight).<\/p>\n
