The organizers of the 35th American Indian Workshop:\u00a0Communication is Key\u00a0<\/em>(Leiden, 21-25 May 2014) are extending the deadline for proposals to November 14th.<\/p>\n

\n

Please find the Call for Papers, as well as other information, on the AIW website:\u00a0www.hum.leiden.edu\/lucl\/american-indian-workshop<\/a><\/p>\n

This deadline extension also includes the special sessions:<\/p>\n

– The National Museum of Ethnology will host an extended session on a specific type of intercultural communication: \u201cNative North America and Tourism\u201d. The museum will endeavour to publish articles based upon the conference papers either as a volume in its own publication series, or elsewhere.<\/p>\n

– The workshop will include a session on Open Access publications and research in relation to Native American\/First Nations Studies.<\/p>\n

– The workshop will include a session of poster presentations. Submission for poster presentations is open to academic students of all levels.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
