The 10th International Conference on Chicano Literature and Latino Studies, focuses on analyzing how literature has represented culture and Hispanic heritage as the tools to build the Latino identity, and wants to research in the repercussion of the Latino presence in the North American culture.<\/p>\n
Papers on the following topic are welcomed:

\n\uf0b7 The Latino women in the society
\n\uf0b7 Social and cultural trasnformation
\n\uf0b7 Challenges of the new society
\n\uf0b7 Buiding the \u201cLatino worlds\u201d
\n\uf0b7 Evolution and development of the Chicano movement<\/p>\n
The Conference welcomes post-graduate students as well as more established scholars, and aims to be a forum for disciplines ranging across the humanities (literature, culture, art and philosophy) and the social sciences.
\nProposals: Proposals should consist of a title, an abstract of 250-300 words and a brief biography (100-150 words) and can be written in English or Spanish. They should be sent through the form available on the conference\u2019s website.<\/p>\n
