Sus miembros investigan literatura, media, lengua, historia, sociedades, pol\u00edtica, y econom\u00eda. M\u00e1s all\u00e1 de los puntos de referencia nacionales, las conferencias y publicaciones de la asociaci\u00f3n examinan la presente intensificaci\u00f3n de tendencias transnacionales y globales en las Am\u00e9ricas, as\u00ed como su desarrollo hist\u00f3rico.
