La mayor\u00eda de estos trabajos ha resaltado los aspectos positivos de organizaciones que han cuestionado estructuras sociales injustas y excluyentes. Sin embargo, ya han pasado casi cuarenta a\u00f1os desde el surgimiento de las versiones contempor\u00e1neas de estos movimientos sociales alrededor de los a\u00f1os setenta del XX, y es quiz\u00e1 el momento de realizar un balance cr\u00edtico de su impacto pol\u00edtico, econ\u00f3mico, social y cultural, as\u00ed como de sus variadas articulaciones con el contexto neoliberal.<\/p>\n<p>Este libro analiza aspectos de los movimientos ind\u00edgenas en Bolivia, M\u00e9xico, Colombia y Ecuador desde perspectivas que, si bien simpatizan con estos movimientos, tambi\u00e9n son cr\u00edticas frente a interpretaciones previas de las pol\u00edticas de la identidad.
