The 4. INDIANER INUIT: Das Nordamerika Film Festival, will take place from Thursday, the 19th to Sunday, the 22nd of January 2012. Interested North American film makers have already submitted more than 15 films for this festival. The Cultural Office of the City of Stuttgart and the MFG have promised to once again support this festival which is unique in Europe. The event will take place – just like last year – at the Treffpunkt Rotebühlplatz (VHS Stuttgart).

After the first and very successful „Best of American Indian Film Festival San Francisco“ weekend (5/6 June 2010) at the Stuttgart Linden Museum, where Festival Director Michael Smith and his team from San Francisco presented award winning productions of the American Indian Film Festival 2009, the organizers decided to organize a regular “Best Of” weekend. The next “Best Of” will take place on February 19/20 2011 at the Linden Museum. My heartfelt thanks for the excellent organization of the “Best of 2010” go out to Dr. Sonja Schierle, curator of the North America segment of this beautiful museum!
